A recent study by Rospotrebnadzor as part of the national project "Demography" has found that kefir, cabbage, and beets are the least accessible goods in retail outlets across Russia, with an overall retail availability assessment of over 78%. The most accessible goods include pasta, cheese, canned fish, yogurt, cooked sausage, milk, canned meat, and wheat bread. However, healthy products such as freshwater fish, lamb, beef, fortified products, and specialized food products for children on a dairy basis are not yet fully accessible to consumers. The availability of goods on the shelf is higher than the global average, with federal retail chains not recording a decrease in product availability in any of the listed product categories.
