In October, Russia experienced an increase in the prices of various dairy products, including sour cream, drinking milk, cream, cheese, and fermented milk products. Despite these price increases, the production of agricultural products in the country continues to grow, with a 1.8% increase over the first nine months of the year. The Ministry of Agriculture reported growth in livestock farming, the food and processing industries, with increases in the production of livestock and poultry, raw milk, sugar production, vegetable oils, cheeses, confectionery, processed milk, flour, meat, and offal. The Federal Antimonopoly Service reported agreements to contain prices for butter in 21 regions of Russia, aiming to stabilize prices and increase availability.
