At the time of survey, RSS3 prices at the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM) for June 2025 sharply dropped 11.7 yen (3.8%); down to 300.1 yen/kg. Meanwhile, on the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE), natural rubber prices for the July 2025 contract slightly decreased 5 CNY (0.036%); reaching 13,970 CNY/kg. In Thailand, rubber prices for the July 2025 contract increased by 0.22 baht (0.1%); at 72.8 baht/kg. Today's global rubber prices are declining in Japan and China but slightly rising in Thailand. The Japanese yen dropped to 145.4 yen per 1 USD - its lowest in a week, making yen-denominated assets more attractive to foreign investors.
