At the time of the survey, the price of RSS3 at the TOCOM (Tokyo) Commodity Exchange for December 2025 delivery increased slightly by 0.2 yen (equivalent to 0.2%); up to 323 yen/kg. Meanwhile, the price of December 2025 rubber futures in Thailand decreased by another 1.4 baht (that is 2%); to the level of 55.5 baht/kg. As for China, the price of this commodity for January 2026 delivery edged up slightly by 30 CNY (or 0.2%); reaching the threshold of 15,110 CNY/ton. Today's global rubber prices are falling sharply in Thailand but rising slightly in China and Japan. The Japanese market continues to rise due to stronger oil prices and the expectation that the European Union will soon announce support measures for the automotive industry amid slowing demand for electric vehicles.
