Russia is set to achieve a record wheat export of 29.4 million tons in the first half of the agricultural year (July-December 2024), according to the Rusagrotrans analytical center. December exports are expected to reach between 3.7-3.8 million tons, slightly below the previous year's figure of 4.06 million tons. Despite this, export demand prices for Russian wheat have remained unchanged at $235 per ton, while prices have increased for French, German, and American wheat. Domestic wheat market prices have seen a slight increase in the south and a decrease in the central regions. The wheat exchange market experienced a decline last week, despite active purchases of milling wheat by Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, and durum wheat by Tunisia and Algeria.
