Over three years, the volume of mutual agricultural product supplies between the countries has increased more than twofold. Russia and India have significant potential for expanding trade, said the Russian Minister of Agriculture Oksana Lut during the Russian-Indian Forum in New Delhi. According to her, despite the similarity in the range of agricultural products produced, there are segments in which the countries complement each other. In particular, India is the largest exporter of shrimp on the world market and ranks second in supplies to Russia. "We discussed that, of course, we can increase these supplies. <...> There is potential for growth in demand for these products," emphasized Lut.
