Russia and Kazakhstan buy Afghan onions

The Afghan Chamber of Agriculture (ACAL) has stated that Kazakhstan and Russia have expressed an interest in purchasing Afghan onions. ACAL said several Afghan trucks loaded with onions are headed for the borders destined for Central Asian states. "Fortunately, we were able to export well to Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan and from there to Russia. This year, the markets in Russia also need onions," said Mirwais Haji Zada, head of ACAL.
