Russia estimates volumes of poultry meat exports to Africa

Over the past few years, Russia has reached a stable level of poultry meat supplies to African countries, which reached about a thousand tons per year. As PRIME reports, this figure was announced at the conference “Export Guides 2023: New Markets and Opportunities” by the head of the National Union of Poultry Farmers Sergei Lakhtyukhov. He named Benin and Congo as examples of such states, where, according to him, significant volumes of turkey meat go. At the same time, the expert noted that we are not talking about one-time contracts and supplies. The union also listed the largest importing countries in monetary terms. The leader was China with 523 million dollars, followed by Belarus with 264 million, Saudi Arabia with 189, Kazakhstan 110, Vietnam 97, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) 30.
