Russia has increased the export of lamb by five times

From January to December 23, Russia experienced a significant increase in meat exports, with lamb exports alone surging five times compared to 2021, reaching 913 tons. Additionally, there was a 24% increase in poultry meat exports, amounting to 336.6 thousand tons, along with an 18% increase in pork exports, totaling 145.9 thousand tons. Beef exports also saw a 9% increase, totaling 33.5 thousand tons. The exports of finished meat products increased by 4%, totaling 76.4 thousand tons. Overall, meat product exports increased by 13% compared to 2021, reaching over 819.8 thousand tons. The Rosselkhoznadzor also noted that it had opened markets in 39 countries for Russian livestock products, with over 90 states now permitting the supply of domestic livestock products.
