Russia has reduced its seafood purchases from India by a third

In August of this year, Russia's import of seafood from India, including some types of shrimp, decreased by 34 percent compared to the same month last year. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to data from the Indian statistical service. Of the specific types of products, Moscow bought only crustaceans from New Delhi. In exact figures, they were sold to the Russian market for 10.8 million dollars. With this figure for the above-mentioned month, our country took seventh place in the list of buyers of these delicacies. Sixth place is not named in the statistics, but the top five are indicated. The largest importer with $180 million was the United States. Other buyer countries purchased this product much less.
