In 2023, 1.46 million tons of it were exported to this country (an increase of 2.2 times); in value terms, supplies increased by 53%. “The leading importers of Russian rapeseed oil traditionally include European countries, but their share is decreasing. Last year, exports to Latvia decreased by 20%, to 76 thousand tons, in value - by 47%. Shipments to Norway decreased fourfold, up to 16 thousand tons, and 6.7 times in value,” the statement says.
