Russia has seen a significant increase in its wheat and rye-wheat flour exports in the first eight months of the year, with over 830 thousand tons, which is a 1.3 times increase compared to the same period last year. Afghanistan has been the largest buyer, accounting for 34.8% of these exports, followed by China with 10% and Iraq with 9.2%. The Agroexport center predicts that by 2030, Russian wheat or wheat-rye flour exports could reach 1.7 million tons. Furthermore, global flour exports in 2023 are projected to reach 12.3 million tons, valued at $6.3 billion.
