In the first half of the year, Russia has seen a significant increase in its imports of tea, coffee, and spices from India, with the total cost of these imports rising by one-third compared to the same period last year to a total of 62.8 million dollars. The most prominent increase was in coffee imports, which more than doubled. Tea and spices, including pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg, and other varieties, also saw increases in import volumes. As a result, Russia has moved up in the rankings of the world's top importers of these products, now holding the 11th position with a 2.8% share, up from 12th place the previous year. India's total export of coffee, tea, and spices also experienced a 22.3% increase compared to last year, reaching 2.9 billion dollars in the first half of this year.
