The agency will support the implementation of digital technologies in breeding Chipping and digital accounting will cover the entire livestock population in Russia. This was reported in an interview with Agroexpert by Roman Nekrasov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. "In the agro-industrial complex, we want to switch to full chipping of animals in order to have complete information about the health status, genetic properties, productive characteristics, and, most importantly, about the movement of these animals within our country or abroad," said Nekrasov. According to him, individual identification of animals will not only ensure traceability of products but also increase the efficiency of breeding work, and thus increase the volume of livestock production. "By 2030, we plan to produce almost 39 million tons of milk, about 20 million tons of meat, 54 thousand tons of wool, and about 56 billion eggs," listed the Deputy Minister.
