Scientists Have Already Obtained the First Generation of Chicks with Increased Survival Rate
Scientific staff from the Faculty of Biotechnology and Fisheries at K. G. Razumovsky Moscow State University of Technologies and Management are developing a method for mass pheasant breeding. In the faculty's laboratories, they have already industrially obtained the first generation of chicks with increased survival rate, writes Izvestia.
"Our project aims to develop a simplified technology for pheasant breeding and incubation, designed for farming. Additionally, in the faculty's laboratories, effective feed formulations are being developed with the inclusion of various functional components, such as probiotics, amino acids, and trace elements. It is well known that birds need to be administered preventive antibiotics to protect against infections, and we are already testing a new domestic drug that we plan to use for vaccination.
