The Russian Ministry of Agriculture has announced a decrease in the export duty on wheat, meslin, barley, and corn until January 12, 2024. The rates for wheat, barley, and corn will be 4,346.1, 2,220.1, and 4,366.5 rubles per ton respectively, down from current rates. These rates are calculated based on indicative prices of $240.8, $199.4, and $229.9 per ton. The government has also adjusted the base export prices for these grains and introduced floating duties, which are 70% of the difference between the base price and the indicative price, calculated weekly.
