The Russian Ministry of Agriculture has announced increases in the export duties on wheat, meslin, barley, and corn effective December 25, 2024. The rates are calculated based on indicative prices of $240.4, $202, and $230 per ton for wheat, barley, and corn respectively. The duty rates, which are adjustable, will be published on the ministry's website and will be in effect until new rates are announced. The government had previously adjusted the basic export prices of these grains and introduced a 70% duty on the difference between the base price and the indicative price.
