Russia is interested in exporting value-added products, particularly rice groats, and therefore exports will gradually open up depending on production volumes. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev during the All-Russian Grain Forum. Regarding the export of unmilled rice, it is not planned to be opened, since, according to Patrushev, even last year's record harvest (about 1.2 million tons) was insufficient to fully load the country's processing capacities (about 1.5 million tons).
