In December 2024, the 'Transbaikalsk' international road port was used for significant trade activities between Russia and China. China exported 23 batches of feed additives, 15 batches of fish and seafood products, and 33 batches of medicines, totaling 134 tons, 180 tons, and 165.2 tons respectively. On the other hand, Russia exported 4 batches of milk and dairy products, 4 batches of frozen fish products, and 37 sports horses. All exports underwent the necessary veterinary quarantine inspections. The Russian Animal and Plant Inspection and Quarantine Service inspected a total of 1,044 batches/over 10,000 tons of livestock products at the 'Transbaikalsk' port from January 1 to December 28, 2024, marking a 2.3-time increase compared to 2023.
