Russia has set a record by exporting a large batch of Ural flax seeds to China, contributing to over 70% of the country's total export structure last year. The flax seed exports to China have quadrupled, and with the opening borders and lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, there is potential for record-breaking exports this year. The demand for Ural flax seeds in China is high, while the domestic consumption in Russia is low, making it a primarily export-oriented business. The Sverdlovsk region has seen a significant increase in flax crop growth, and the company 'Vostok' is looking for buyers in Southeast Asia. There has also been a growth in the export of vegetable oils, flour, cereals, pasta, and products from the Ural meat and dairy industry to China.
