The article reports on the significant increase in fish production in Russia, with the Far Eastern basin seeing a rise in pollock, herring, and flounder. The Northern basin also experienced a surge in capelin production. The Western and Volga-Caspian basins saw modest increases in sprat catch, while the Azov-Black Sea basin noted a slight increase in anchovy catch. The Russian fishing fleet has harvested over 335.7 thousand tons from various basins and the open sea.
