Russian importing companies have purchased over 50,000 tons of butter from the Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) from January to October 2024. The total amount of exchange contracts for Russia, Kazakhstan, and the UAE exceeded $682 million, with Russia's share being about 90%. The top five largest importers of Belarusian agricultural products in Russia are Moscow, Leningrad, Smolensk and Yaroslavl regions, as well as the Republic of Tatarstan. Other products in high demand among Russians include dry skim milk, cheeses, cottage cheese, beef, wheat gluten, and amino acids.
