Since the start of the year, Russian regions, notably Stavropol, have seen a significant increase in the export of wheat flour, with over 51 thousand tons sent out. Afghanistan has been the largest recipient, importing over 12.6 thousand tons, while other countries including Azerbaijan, Armenia, Turkmenistan, Belarus, Georgia, Uzbekistan, the UAE, Iraq, Israel, and Papua New Guinea have also contributed to the total of approximately 84 thousand tons imported. First-time exporters Chuvashia have sent 130 tons each to Azerbaijan and Tajikistan, contributing an additional 173 tons to foreign markets from January to May.
