Russian sausage producers are increasing exports

Over the eight months of this year, Russia has increased the export of sausage products by 24 percent from the same period last year - up to 2,100 tons. According to the analytical agency IMIT, such data were presented by the head of its marketing research, Elmira Ibatova, at the forum “Export in the development strategies of meat industry enterprises” as part of the KormVet exhibition. According to her, Kazakhstan became the largest importer with a share of 59 percent, and second and third places with a large gap were taken by Belarus and Azerbaijan with seven and three. The expert also provided data on the supply of all semi-finished meat products over the past five years. During this period they increased by 59 percent to 74 thousand tons. However, in the eight months of this year, year-on-year deliveries fell by six percent to 47,700 tons.
