In the first 10 months of 2024, China has emerged as the leading importer of Russian wine, followed by Turkey and Abkhazia, accounting for 14%, 13%, and 11% of exports respectively. Latvia and Israel also feature among the top five importers. According to the Russian Federal Customs Service, Russian wine exports experienced a significant increase of 20% in the January to October period of 2024, totaling 168,000 tons.
