Russia's crab exports increased by 25% in the first quarter of this year

Russian domestic crab consumption rose by 20% last year to 8,000 tons, according to the All-Russian Association of Fishery Producers. There is optimism among producers to reinstate supply to the US market, following improvements in US-Russia relations. Since 2025, Russia has begun exporting crabs to the UAE and Thailand, with 90% of its total catch being exported.
