. For comparison, during the same period last year, prices were 6,000–7,000 UAH/ton. The cost of Ukrainian rye flour increased to 18,000 UAH/ton versus 10,000 UAH/ton in May 2024. Imported raw material products now cost around 20,000 UAH/ton. According to the Ukrainian Flour Millers Union, Ukraine is experiencing a 100% rye deficit, which will likely persist in the 2025/26 season.
