Saffron and Pistachio Lead Spain-Iran Agri-Food Trade

It is the main agri-food business category that Spain maintains with this country, with a clearly deficit balance for Spain (-52 million) whose main sale is obtained from vegetable seeds. According to Government Trade statistics, consulted by Efeagro, Spain exported agri-food products worth 16.57 million euros to Iran last year, of which four million come from the vegetable seed business and 3.37 million from the sale of food industry waste.
