Saffron production is becoming widespread in Tekirdağ.

In Tekirdağ, the saffron plant, whose production area has been rapidly increasing in recent years, is attracting attention both for its economic value and its medicinal benefits. Provincial Director of Agriculture and Forestry Mehmet Aksoy visited a two-year-old saffron field of 20 decares belonging to a young producer in Göçerler Neighborhood of Saray district. During the visit, Aksoy met with the producer's family and, despite the cold and rainy weather, inspected the production carried out with dedication.
