A farmer training meeting was held as part of the "Eskişehir Ladies Produce Saffron" project, in collaboration with the Eskişehir Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry and the Eskişehir Transition Zone Agricultural Research Institute. The training focused on improving the quality and efficiency of saffron production, covering topics such as care and feeding methods, weed control, and saffron quality criteria. The participants also visited saffron planted areas within the Institute. The project, which aims to teach agricultural innovations to women farmers, has established 122 decares of saffron, making Eskişehir the leading province in saffron production in Turkey.
