Brazilian chicken meat exports to Arab countries and the Halal market are expected to grow this year due to a drop in production and exports in Brazil's main competitors, such as Turkey. The Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) estimates that Brazil will produce up to 3% more chicken meat and export up to 8% more compared to last year. Additionally, Brazil has not registered any cases of avian influenza in poultry for commercial production, which has affected its exports to certain countries like Japan.
