Sales taxes for the second half of 2021 in Norway

The Ministry of Agriculture and Food has, on the recommendation of the Sales Council, set rates for sales taxes from 1 July 2021. The maximum rate for sales tax on grain and oilseeds for the grain year starting 1 July 2021 is set at 4.0 øre per kg. The final rate will be determined by the Sales Council in August based on the crop and consumption situation. The sales tax on eggs will be reduced by NOK 0.10 per kg to NOK 0.70 per kg for the second half of 2021. The sales tax on milk will be reduced by 1.0 øre per liter to 9 øre / liter for the second half of 2021.
