Vietnam is experiencing a surge in prices of energy, fertilizers, grains, and food due to global market trends. The cost of living is becoming increasingly burdensome for the population, with foodstuffs like cooking oil, wheat, and salmon seeing significant price hikes. Norwegian salmon prices have doubled from the previous year, reaching over 780,000 VND per kilogram. This increase is largely due to high import costs and a reduction in import volume, exacerbated by the war between Russia and Ukraine. The situation shows no signs of improvement, with experts predicting further increases.
