San José de Feliciano calls for a Public Hearing for the Multispecies Slaughterhouse project

The Municipal Executive Department of San José de Feliciano issued Decree No. 218/2025 to call for a Public Hearing, initiating the process of citizen participation required to move forward with a large-scale productive project for the city. The hearing focuses on the project presented by BBS Frigoríficos S.A., a company belonging to the South Korean holding "BSS INVESTMENT." The project contemplates the completion, concession, and subsequent exploitation of the Municipal Multispecies Abattoir, with the main objective of exporting meat products and by-products, including the slaughter of cattle, sheep, and pigs. The call for the hearing comes after the Environment Secretariat of the Province of Entre Ríos issued a Favorable Opinion for the venture.
