The San Vicente delegation in Baja California has produced 1,268 tons of celery during the 2020-2021 autumn-winter cycle, according to Juan Manuel Martínez Núñez from the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. The production was grown on 40 hectares, primarily in the areas of Maneadero, La Misión, and San Vicente, and was irrigated for increased yield. The celery is sold in the United States, especially in California, and locally in Tijuana, generating an economic impact of 8.1 million pesos. The autonomous district DDR 001 reported a yield of 31.71 tons per hectacre.
