Sangju Agricultural Technology Center has newly established a "Low-Level Test Research Smart Farm" to lower the threshold of smart farming and has launched a full-scale cucumber demonstration research for developing customized smart farms for small and medium-sized farmers. According to the Sangju Agricultural Technology Center, the Low-Level Test Research Smart Farm (1,570㎡) was created by remodeling the interior of an existing chrysanthemum cultivation greenhouse and consists of a cultivation room (1,378㎡) and a management room (192㎡). This facility is equipped with a complex environmental control system that can regulate the crop growth environment, including temperature, humidity, ventilation, shading, heating, and nutrient supply, and will be widely used not only for smart agriculture demonstration research but also for farm consulting and education.
