[Korean Farmers' Newspaper, Reporter Jo Sung-je] The Sangju Agricultural Technology Center has newly established a "Low-Level Test Research Smart Farm" to lower the threshold for smart farms and is actively pushing forward with an experimental study on cucumbers for the development of customized smart farms for small and medium-sized farmers. According to the Sangju Agricultural Technology Center, the Low-Level Test Research Smart Farm (1,570㎡) was created by remodeling the interior of an existing greenhouse for chrysanthemum cultivation and consists of a cultivation room (1,378㎡) and a management room (192㎡). This facility is equipped with a complex environmental control system that can regulate the crop growth environment, including temperature, humidity, ventilation, shading, heating, and nutrient supply, for the practical testing and research of smart agriculture.
