Peru: Sanipes and Mincetur train 94 professionals on sanitary requirements to export trout to Europe, the United States and Asia

The National Authority for Health and Safety in Fisheries and Aquaculture (Sanipes), an entity attached to the Ministry of Production (Produce), together with the Directorate of Technical Requirements for Foreign Trade of the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (Mincetur), trained 94 professionals from exporting companies and those with export potential from the regions of Puno, Arequipa, Huancavelica, Junín and Pasco on the sanitary requirements for exporting trout to Europe, the United States and Asia. As part of its presentation at the webinar “Puno, Arequipa, Huancavelica, Junín and Pasco: Commercial Opportunities and Sanitary Requirements for the Export of Trout to Europe, the United States and Asia”, Sanipes explained the requirements and the procedure for requesting sanitary authorization.
