Saudi Arabian agricultural project, Dava, has successfully exported fresh produce to Europe for the first time in 2024. The project, which uses advanced technology in greenhouses and vertical farming, aims to reach a daily production capacity of 165 tons by 2024. Dava plans to export 12 tons of fresh vegetables daily to Europe in 2025, totaling 1,500 tons for the year. Additionally, a farm specializing in blue and red blackberries is using CO2 in its operations and setting up a distribution company for fruits and vegetables, which will increase Saudi Arabia's export capacity and deliver imported produce to UK markets.
