Saudi beekeepers in Italy to train on queen production techniques

The Rural Development Program "Rif Saudi Arabia" organized a study visit to Italy for a delegation that included a number of Saudi beekeepers, in cooperation with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), with the aim of developing their skills and learning about the latest global technologies in beekeeping and queen production. The visit comes within the framework of the international training program launched by "Rif Saudi Arabia" to contribute to the development of farmers' capabilities and skills, and to introduce them to modern agricultural methods, through the implementation of external study tours in specific agricultural fields. The delegation included, in addition to program officials, model beekeepers who own demonstration apiaries through which they can transfer their experiences to other beekeepers, in addition to members of beekeeper cooperatives.
