Sausage production has increased in Russia — RSHB

Almost half of domestic sausages are produced in the Central Federal District From the beginning of 2024 to October, Russia produced about 2.1 million tons of sausages and similar food products made from meat and poultry, which is 2.1% more than in the same period last year. This is stated in a study by the Center for Industry Expertise of the Russian Agricultural Bank (RSHB). Almost half of domestic sausages are produced in the Central Federal District (CFD): over 10 months of last year, about 1 million tons of products were produced there, which is 48.3% of the total volume in the country. The top three also include the Volga Region (22.0%) and the Northwestern Federal District (9.1%). Among the leading regions, the first places in terms of production volumes were taken by Vladimir Region, Moscow and the Moscow Region, and the Republic of Mordovia.
