Russia produced approximately 2.1 million tons of sausages and similar products from January 2024 to October 2024, marking a 2.1% increase from the previous year, as reported by the Russian Agricultural Bank. The Central Federal District led in sausage production, followed by the Volga Region and the Northwestern Federal District. Cooked sausages were the most popular, with the Vladimir Region being the top producer. Smoked sausages also saw a growth, with Moscow being the leader. Fried sausages experienced a significant surge, with the Kaluga Region leading in production. The Russian Agricultural Bank anticipates an 16% increase in sausage exports by the end of 2024, reaching 95 thousand tons.
