Sea buckthorn is becoming a profitable crop in Ukraine due to its low maintenance costs and high demand both domestically and for export. The crop is primarily grown in the western, central, and northern regions of the country, with the 'Morkvyana' variety being the most promising due to its early ripening and high productivity. Expansion of sea buckthorn orchards is underway in regions like Lviv, Odesa, and Chernihiv, with the first full harvest being collected in the Uman region at the 'Teolinske' FGD.
