Vietnam's seafood exports, with a focus on shrimp and pangasius, are on track to reach 10 billion USD, marking significant growth. In November, exports saw a slight decrease but still increased by 17% year-over-year, totaling 924 million USD. The total export turnover for the first 11 months of the year was nearly 9.2 billion USD, marking an 11.5% increase from the previous year. The industry is expected to surpass its target, with shrimp and pangasius continuing to be the main contributors. The market leaders are China and Hong Kong, with the US also showing positive growth. Despite challenges such as inflation and oversupply, the industry remains optimistic and is projected to continue its growth momentum in 2025.
