The Brazilian Animal Protein Association (ABPA) has successfully opened the El Salvador market to Brazilian chicken meat and egg imports, marking a significant step in Brazil's efforts to expand its footprint in Central American markets. This achievement is highlighted by the Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock as El Salvador, with a population of 6.4 million and annual imports exceeding 22 thousand tons of chicken meat and 2.5 thousand tons of eggs, becomes the first Central American country to sign a health certificate with Brazil. This move is part of a larger trend towards increasing the international market access for Brazilian animal protein products, offering a promising outlook for Brazil's agricultural export sector.
