The National Meteorology and Hydrology Service of Peru (Senamhi) published the scientific article titled "Agricultural zoning of climate risks for the cultivation of quinoa (Chenopodium quinoa Willd) in the Peruvian Altiplano" in the journal Scientia Agropecuaria. This study presents a technical tool that allows for the optimization of quinoa sowing schedules in the Puno region, identifying periods of lower climate risk and contributing to sustainable agricultural planning and adaptation to climate change. The results show that September presents the highest exposure to climate risk, October constitutes an intermediate option coinciding with the beginning of the rains, while November is the safest month, with a predominance of low-risk areas.
