Senegalese international football star Edouard Mendy has sponsored the construction of three water wells in partnership with Afrikicks, extending access to clean and sustainable drinking water to a mosque, a village, and a school community as part of a targeted humanitarian intervention. The project is aimed at addressing long-standing water challenges in underserved communities, where access to safe drinking water has remained a daily struggle affecting health, education, and community life. The newly completed wells are expected to serve hundreds of residents, worshippers, and schoolchildren. According to Afrikicks, the wells were deliberately positioned to maximise impact.
