The city conducted a surprise inspection on a selection station that attempted to distribute non-product tangerines during the weekend night hours on the 20th and discovered 120 boxes, weighing 0.6 tons, of non-product tangerines packaged at two selection stations, the city announced on the 22nd. The city organized a special inspection team and conducted surprise inspections after obtaining information that some selection stations were distributing non-product tangerines during vulnerable inspection times. The selection stations that were inspected this time were caught while mixing large tangerines with product tangerines and packaging them, and the city immediately disposed of all the non-product tangerines and imposed fines. Seogwipo City plans to conduct surprise inspections during vulnerable times until the end of the shipment of this year's field-grown tangerines. As of the 20th, the city had discovered a total of 67 cases, 9.6 tons, and imposed fines totaling 65,460,000 won.
