Russia: Serbian truffle reached the Moscow region with an international project

The production of sauces from Serbian truffles has been established in the Moscow region. At the international exhibition “Prodexpo”, the Moscow region and the Republic of Serbia presented a joint product called “Slavic Truffle”. Cooperation between the Ecoregion company from Krasnogorsk and the Serbian company Damar Tartufi led to the launch of joint production. Truffles are mined in Serbia and processed at a plant in the Moscow region. According to Vladislav Murashov, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Moscow Region - Minister of Agriculture and Food of the Moscow Region, the Ecoregion company now produces about 200 types of grocery products, shows significant growth in the production of vegetable oils and is establishing international partnerships. Truffle products were highly appreciated by tasters, and next week “Slavic truffle” will be able to be tasted and evaluated in the United Arab Emirates - the first batch will go to Dubai in a week, said Vladislav Murashov.
