In times of uncertain markets and high production costs, farmers from different parts of Bulgaria are finding security, stability, and good prices through cooperatives. This is demonstrated by the stories of two livestock farmers – Sabri Hasan from Sini Rid village in Burgas region, and Dinko Marinov from Novi Pazar, who are part of cooperatives associated with the National Sheep and Goat Breeding Association (NOKA). "Thanks to the association, this year we are receiving a quite good price – 2.10 leva per liter of sheep's milk," Dinko Marinov says. He raises 180 sheep and 340 goats, with goat's milk also having an increased purchase price: "We sell goat's milk at 1.20 leva, whereas previously it was 1.10 leva – again with the help of the association." The situation is similar in Sabri Hasan's farm from Sini Rid, who notes: "The average price is around 1.60 leva, but I receive 2.10 leva because I am part of a cooperative."
