In the first half of 2024, Chilean dried plum exports totaled 34,026 tons, valued at US$ 104 million, mirroring the previous year's performance. China was the largest importer, followed by Poland and Mexico. Other significant destinations included the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Turkey, and Australia, with Turkey replacing Russia from the prior year. Chile continues to lead globally in dried plum exports, with 2023 figures reaching US$ 268.4 million for 72,000 metric tons.
