Uruguay has seen a significant increase in its demand for Paraguayan pork and derivatives, leading to a 114.4% increase in quantity and a 114.5% increase in value in exports received by August 2022, compared to the same period in 2021. Other countries including Georgia, Armenia, and Russia also imported Paraguayan pork products. However, overall exports from January to August 2022 saw a decrease of 48% in income and 45% in volume, compared to the same period in the previous year.
